Medicare agent resource center
Use this staging center as a map of the work required before and during a Medicare selling season. Completion of one training course does not by itself establish state authority, carrier appointment, product certification, ready-to-sell status, or approval of a marketing workflow.
Readiness sequence
- Confirm resident and nonresident licenses, lines of authority, continuing education, and state-specific requirements.
- Complete the current annual Medicare and fraud, waste, and abuse training accepted by the relevant carriers.
- Complete every carrier and product certification independently and retain evidence.
- Confirm appointment, hierarchy, writing number, service area, and ready-to-sell status.
- Use approved lead, permission-to-contact, Scope of Appointment, call, event, and enrollment workflows.
- Monitor renewals, carrier bulletins, CMS updates, complaints, corrective actions, and data-retention obligations.
